Step 3: Test Your Checkout Flow Widget
Updated over 4 months ago

Before making the Checkout Flow widget live on your website, it's a good idea to test it yourself first. You can do this easily using your business listing on The Guide. This step ensures that everything is working perfectly and provides you with a first-hand view of what your customer will see.

How To Test Your Widget

In your Checkout Flow dashboard, locate and click on the "View your Listing" button found in the header.

This will take you to your business profile on The Guide, where the 'Book Now' button is already set up and functional.

  • Test the 'Book Now' Button: Click on the 'Book Now' button. This action will open the widget and give you the same booking experience that your guests will have on your website.

  • Review Your Products: Take this opportunity to see how your rooms or activities are presented. Make sure all details, images, and descriptions are accurately displayed.

  • Make a Test Booking: Go through the entire booking process as if you were a guest. This test helps you understand each step your customers will go through when making a booking.

  • Refund Test Bookings: After completing your test booking, you can process a refund through your Tab Payments dashboard. This action ensures no actual transactions affect your financial records.
