You can charge virtual cards from Expedia, Booking.com, Hotelbeds, Agoda, lastminute.com, Best Day Travel, Despegar and several other OTAs through Tab. For these cards, you need to use your account dashboard, instead of the Tab for Business app.

A virtual card is a pre-charged card issued to your business by an OTA (e.g. Booking.com or Expedia). Please note, as virtual cards are more expensive to process, we charge a higher fee for them which is 5.9% per transaction.

Before you attempt to charge the virtual card, it's really important you check that you're trying to charge a virtual card and not a customer's card details. This article explains how to identify the card details you've been sent.

It's really important to enter the correct amount to charge as if it's even 1 cent higher than the value of the card, the payment will fail.

Also, make sure you enter the right currency too as this can can cause the payment to be declined if entered incorrectly.

If you're not sure which currency the card was issued in, you should contact the OTA directly.
